Participants first work in a chaotic\, traditional manufacturing environment building Lego airplanes. Then\, through systematic implementation of Lean concepts learned via presentations throughout the day\, the participants will transition the factory to a modern lean facility. Throughout the day participants will experience the dramatic improvement in productivity and profitability that typically result from lean implementation.

DESCRIPTION:Training cost is $50.  To register\, click here \n10-Hour OSHA Certification\nThe General Industry Outreach Training Program will introduce employees to the basic practices of identifying\, reducing\, eliminating\, and reporting hazards associated with their work. The general industry training will cover a broad range of topics\, including lockout/tagout\, noise\, machine guarding\, hazard communication\, personal protective equipment\, walking and working surfaces and electrical safety. Participants who successfully attend 10-hours of education will receive 10-Hour General Industry Card. Lunch provided.\nTwo days of training: March 22 and 23\, 2023.  Each day’s training will be 9am – 3pm
