White Sulphur Springs, W.Va. (Aug. 28, 2023) – West Virginia Hive is hosting a “Coffee Talks” networking session from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, at The Schoolhouse Hotel in White Sulphur Springs. The public is encouraged to attend this free event.

James Tuckwiller and Frank Ford, multigenerational Greenbrier County farmers and owners of Mountain Steer Meat Company in White Sulphur Springs, will be interviewed by Judy Moore, deputy director of the New River Gorge Regional Development Authority and Executive Director of the WV Hive. Mountain Steer Meat Company was founded when supply chains were disrupted during the COVID-19 pandemic, thus causing a beef shortage in West Virginia. Tuckwiller, a graduate of the Communities of Healing Recovery to Work Cohort Program, is working alongside Ford to create a recovery-friendly workplace.

Moore said, “Our Coffee Talks sessions offer an opportunity for local entrepreneurs, business owners, and community leaders to network, learn from, and exchange ideas with one another in an informal gathering. We hope several from the White Sulphur Springs community and surrounding communities will come out and be a part of the conversation.”
