THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER

Princeton, W.Va. (December 4, 2024) – The community is invited to the grand opening and ribbon cutting of Bōc-Hord Brewery and Bakehouse, 833 Mercer Street, Princeton, W.Va., at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 5.

Owned by Ginger Conley and J.W. Groseclose, Bōc-Hord offers a full lunch and dinner menu featuring baked loaves and craft beers. Guests can enjoy a Bōc-Hord Appetizer Sampler during the event, and Veterans and active-duty military can take advantage of a special military discount.

With Groseclose bringing a decade of professional brewing experience and Conley offering passion for artisan baking, the duo turned their dream into reality with help from the West Virginia Hive. The business opened on September 12, 2024, and the WV Hive provided support with its business plan and technical assistance prior to opening. Devon Fitzgerald is the WV Hive Business Advisor who works most closely with Bōc-Hord Brewery and Bakehouse. Fitzgerald said the owners of the new business follow a simple philosophy: “They take enormous care and pride in their product experience.”
