Oak Hill, W.Va. (December 10, 2024) – The public is invited to the grand opening and ribbon cutting of Next Cutz, 405 Harlem Heights Road, Oak Hill, W.Va., at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 12.
Next Cutz Hair Salon is a full-service salon owned by Joseph Miller and managed by Cyndi Leopardi, who has been styling hair for 36 years. The shop has been open since September 1. Customers are being offered the promotional pricing of $12 Adult Cutz and $10 Kidz Cutz. The new small business leaders will also be serving complimentary beverages and cookies.
Leopardi has faced personal challenges but in recovery wants to give back. “When I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018, this community stepped up for me and it is my turn to reciprocate with love and support,” she said. “I offer every customer a full-service experience with a much better value for their money. I take pride in the fact that I try to educate my clients on their hair as well as the best products for styling and caring for their hair. Hair is a huge part of who you are, so let me help you shine as you should.”
Devon Fitzgerald, Business Advisor at the West Virginia Hive Network has been working with the manager of Next Cutz. Leopardi said, “Devon and the West Virginia Hive have helped us on our journey with business planning, small business resources, and ideas for this grand opening. They help light the path for small businesses just starting out!”
