Lean Manufacturing 101: An Introduction to Lean Manufacturing for businesses hosted by the NRGRDA. Participants first work in a chaotic, traditional manufacturing environment building Lego airplanes. Then, through systematic implementation of Lean concepts learned via presentations throughout the day, the participants will transition the factory to a modern lean facility. Throughout the day participants will experience the dramatic improvement in productivity and profitability that typically result from lean implementation.
